This Banjo HB400 barbed hose adapter is made of glass-reinforced polypropylene and has a 4" barbed connection on one end and a 4" male NPT threaded connection on the other to connect a tube or a hose to a female NPT threaded connection. This schedule 80 adapter is made of glass-reinforced polypropylene for rigidity, lightweight, dimensional stability, and resistance to high impact, heat, corrosion, and most chemicals. The barbed connection creates a tight seal on a tube or hose, and the male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threaded end connects with a female NPT threaded connection. The 5-3/8" outside diameter (OD) integral nut assists with tightening the fitting. The maximum working pressure for this fitting is 150 pounds per square inch (psi) at 70 degrees F.
